This photo had me intrigued the moment I took it.
I didn't -and still don't - have any idea what this young man had going through his mind.
Is it contemplation? Or frustration, concentration, sadness, worry, disbelief ...
I know he wasn't in a happy mood from what I observed.
All I know is I saw him sitting there on the St Kilda pier in Melbourne, obviously taking a break from his job.
With a very intense look on his face and in his body language.
Although I don't usually take photos of people as my main focus, other than sporting shots, I could not resist this one.
At the time, I was contemplating a lot of areas in my own life, and it felt like he was holding up a mirror to me.
I could see myself in him. And I suppose I projected my own emotions in to his persona.
